CA27 is a fully ruggedized tablet computer that allows you to operate in harsh environment.
It features the Intel Centrino 1.1 GHz CPU, up to 512MB DDR RAM, a 20GB shock-mounted Hard Drive, and an unique X-Bay options. The X-Bay lets the user select and upgrade the CA27 with additional wireless LAN & CDPD modules, extra serial, Ethernet and IEEE Fire wire ports, or the users’ own custom modules.
With an optional vehicle docking station and wireless keyboard, the CA27 is built to survive drops, rain, dust, salt air, and other harsh environments. Encased in a die-cast magnesium shell, the CA27 is Mil-Spec tested and certified for all field conditions including uses in transportation, shipping, warehouse, import and export facilities, industrial field work and facilities, utilities, emergency services and government operations.
The bright, 10.4” touch screen that is completely sealed from the elements. It has state-of-the-art digitizing technology with enhanced writing recognition and secured wireless communication and networking capabilities making the system an advanced solution for Wi-Fi mobile networks.
CA27 supports Microsoft operating system 2000, XP, and XP Tablet PC Edition.
