The RMS-5220 industrial computer series is a 2U low profile industrial rackmount server that is RoHS compliant design for high-density rackmount server applications. It offers flexibility in system configuration over a wide range of applications including web server farm, data centers, industrial control and server applications.
The RMS-5220 industrial computer system is based on a PICMG single board computer that plugs into a passive backplane. The unique backplane design provides five PCI expansion slots after the SBC is installed. There is a medium amount of storage, one 5.25" and one 3.5" drive bay in front, one 3.5" is internal for hard drive.
Ample storage drive space and efficient system ventilation through two cooling fans that makes RMS-5220 industrial computer ideal for applications within the networking sector, such as Traffic Management, Firewall, Internet Gateway, Web Server, Security Server, etc.
