The RMS-565 series is an EIA RS-310C 19" rackmount industrial computer designed for industrial control and server applications in harsh industrial environments. The chassis is constructed of heavy-gauge steel for ruggedness and corrosion resistance. A lockable panel provides access to a front cooling fan, and a lockable, shielded door protects and affords easy access to the drives. Filtered ventilation fans prevent airborne dust particles from being drawn into the chassis.
Internally, RMS-565 industrial computer chassis is equipped with four drive bays, three of which are front accessible and one is 3.5" internal. Hard drives are shock-mounted in their drive bays to protect them against vibrations. A card retention system is included to securely hold add-on cards in their slots.
The RMS-565 industrial computer supports industry standard ATX form factor system boards, as well as a 14-slot passive backplane.
