The RMS-6180 industrial computer series are 19" rack-mount industrial computers that meet the EIA RS-310C standard. RMS-6180 rackmount server is constructed for engineering, scientific, data accusation and process control applications where ordinary PCs do not provide the required reliability.
RMS-6180 industrial computer is an 8U chassis that accepts either ATX form factor motherboards or passive backplanes with up to 20 expansion slots. There are 8 disk drive bays to install your hard drives and removable storage devices, thus providing extremely flexible system configuration. Also it provides the high-end processor of Intel or AMD. RMS-6180 rackmount server is designed to perform reliably under harsh environmental conditions. System power is supplied through redundant up to 500W power supplies.
Special care has been taken to provide sufficient ventilation for internal components through four 9cm hot swappable and one 12cm cooling fans. In the event that internal chassis temperature rises over either user preset temperature or system default setting of 122 degrees F, a front panel LED will light up & the fans will turn on automatically; when temperature rises over 150 degrees F, an audible alarm is activated to prevent system failure.
