The PMS-6000A is a Industrial
Panel PC designed specifically for applications
that require a computing solution providing space
saving efficiency and continuous operation capacity
in harsh environments. The panel PC provides fully
integrated I/O connectivity that allows the system
to be configured with a wide range of peripherals,
such as a bar code reader, credit card reader
and LAN. PMS-6000A’s functions can be enhanced
through its modular add-on card enclosure. The
enclosure can be easily mounted to the back of
the panel PC and provides combinations of three
PCI/ISA slots.
The PMS-6000A Industrial Panel
PC consists of an Intel Pentium III/Celeron or
VIA C3 processor-based system board and a flat
panel display with touch screen. The panel PC
accommodates an IDE hard disk drive, side-mounted
floppy disk drive, and optional CD-ROM. The display
is a 15” color TFT LCD with a maximum resolution
of 1024 x 768.
Network connection for the
Industrial Panel PC is provided by an on-board
Ethernet controller enabling 10/100Base-T interface
connections. There are four COM ports providing
connections to external peripherals and two ventilating
fans to cool the internal components. In addition,
there is an on-board watchdog timer.
