IMB-Q170J-ITXT2 Motherboard

The new IMB-Q170J-ITXT2 motherboard has just been released by Broadax Systems, Inc. The Mini-ITX dimensions run at a length and width of 170mm and is outfitted with an ultra slim design and low profile IO shield placing it at a height of 20mm. Due to the Mini-ITX dimensions of the board, it will primarily be fitted within 1U rackmount computers most notably the RMS106, RMS108 and RMS130 Rackmount Computer.

The board also features PCI-E x16 expansion slots RAID support and 2 DDR4-2113 memory slots with a maximum combined capacity of 32 GB. The IO comes installed with 3 Intel I211-AT PCI-E Gigabit LAN ports and 1 Intel I219-LM PHY Gigabit LAN port. The chipset used by the IMB-Q170J-ITXT2 is the Intel Q170 thus the supported processors are from the Intel Pentium 6th and 7th generation lineup including i7, i5 and i3.
Furthermore, the board features the Intel TPM 2.0 trusted computing firmware including an onboard Nuvoton TPM 2.0. As far as storage capabilities go, there are 4 SATA3 6Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10. Additionally there is also one full sized mSATA slot if the user prefers an M.2 over a hard or solid state drive. Specifications aside, the IMB-Q170J also comes with the benefit of having a long lifecycle where support for the board will last up to the 3rd quarter of 2022 so if longevity of the board is a concern the IMB-Q170J should be taken into consideration.
