The Supermicro SuperServer F617R2-FTPT+ features eight hot-plug system nodes in a 4U form factor. Each node supports dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v2 series processor, up to 512GB DDR3 ECC Registered Memory, built-in dual port 10GBase-T LAN, Each node supports up to four 2.5" fixed drive bays for high capacity storage. The F617R2-FTPT+ 4U FatTwin server is equipped with eight 80mm fans, and 1000W redundant platinum level power supplies.

The F617R2-FTPT+ 4U rackmount server is ideal for many different environments including Data Center, Cloud Computing, and HPC; Engineering, Research, File and Storage Server deployments; and General Server and Enterprise Server applications.
