The Supermicro F617R2-RT+ is 4U 29" rackmount server that features eight hot-plug system nodes in chassis. Each node supports dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v2 series processor, up to 512GB DDR3 ECC Registered memory, built-in dual port gigabit LAN, Each node provides six 2.5" hot-swap SATA drive bays. The F617R2-RT+ 4U SuperServer comes with 24x 40mm 14,000 RPM middle fans, is equipped with 1000W redundant Platinum level power supplies. It is ideal for many different environments including Data Center, Cloud Computing, and HPC; Engineering, Research, File and Storage Server deployments; and General Server and Enterprise Server applications.
