The RMS-4316 industrial computer is a spacious 3U high rackmount server that supports flexible system configuration while providing room for expansion. It is well-suited for general industrial server applications such as file servers, domain controllers, directory services and domain name service servers, web servers, and a host of other custom Internet, intranet and industrial automation applications.
The RMS-4316 industrial computer is constructed of heavy-duty cold-rolled steel with bright chromate finishing. There are sixteen serial ATA Hot-Swappable bays for installing a wide range of storage devices. Four 80x32mm Hot-Swap ball-bearing cooling fans provide ventilation for the internal components and two rear 80x32mm ball-bearing cooling fans. The system area accommodates ATX and Extended ATX form factor motherboards with space for 7 up to full-length expansion cards.
The RMS-4316 industrial computer does not compromise on features. It is dual processor capable, supporting single Intel or AMD and up to two Intel Xeon processors. Up to 8GB of DDR2 SDRAM can be installed for processor and memory intensive applications. IDE RAID or SCSI RAID configurations are available for high-sustained data throughput.
