Data acquisition plays an important role in our everyday lives and serves as a bridge so we can better understand and record data. Although we rarely think about it, we use and access information regularly from Data Acquisition Systems (DAS). Our DAS can be used all around the world and in different environments. From the cooled server room in the corporate office to the hot dry air of the desert, our DAS are even able to travel and collect data during transport.
There are multiple sensors manufactured to work with our DIN-Rail Embedded Computers that can convert a physical property in to an electrical signal. With the help of a DAS we can see the converted physical parameters in to electrical signals, which in turn are created in to digital values that we can understand. There are many physical properties that can be measured and monitored with a DAS such as gas pressure, fluid flow, force and light intensity just to name a few. Even though we don't think about it, we do use a DAS everyday, whether to check the current temperature or traffic.
